Sanction withdrawn from Thaw Brawl, Penalties Issued Officials from DIRTcar Racing, Mars, DIRTcar Series, and American Late Model Series have withdrawn the event sanction from the March 24, 2017 Thaw Brawl at La Salle Speedway. The Friday races of the multi series special event were completed, however, track management allowed a DIRTcar suspended race team to participate in defiance of the sanctioning bodies warning. All Division drivers must have a DIRTcar License to participate and receive benefits CONCORD, N.C. – March 2, 2017 – Starting with the first events of 2017, any participants of a DIRTcar-sanctioned event will be required to hold a DIRTcar Racing membership. Any division without a 100 percent membership participation will be at risk of violating the sanction agreement and suspension of the sanction by DIRTcar Racing.
