DIRTcar Racing UMP Weekly Points Update: Schlenk (Late Models) & Sweeney (Modifieds) Remain Atop National Standings

Maryville, IL — Rusty Schlenk of Jackson, Mich. (Late Models) and Randle Sweeney of Clifty, Ky. (Modifieds) remained atop DIRTcar Racing’s UMP circuit national points standings with six weeks of weekly competition completed. Schlenk, 23, continued to build a significant early-season edge in the DIRTcar Late Model points battle, extending his lead to 342 points (1,120-778) over Jason McBride of Carbondale, Ill., in races run through May 9. Pevely, MO — DIRTcar UMP Racing and I-55 Raceway officials announced today the second edition of the DIRTcar UMP Roundup “Party In Pevely” will be postponed to Oct. 14-15-16, 2010.
