Lawrenceburg Speedway Monster Modified 40 Rained Out and Will Not Be Rescheduled

American Modified SeriesGlasgow, KY-August 16, 2010- The American Modified Series presented by Force Fuel and Engine Conditioner would be rained out on Saturday evening at Lawrenceburg Speedway in Lawrenceburg, IN for the Monster Modified 40 and that event will not be rescheduled.

However, Lawrenceburg Speedway track promoter Dave Rudisell has informed American Modified Series presented by Force Fuel and Engine Conditioner Series officials that he will still host the series final event of the 2010 racing season on September 18, but that event will now pay $2,000 to win instead of the originally scheduled amount of $1,500 to win and will pay a bit of extra money in each position throughout the field.

Bloomington Speedway event will be the sight of the next AMS event on Friday August 20 at the historic ¼ mile red clay Central Indiana oval.  The August 20 event at Bloomington Speedway will feature the American Modified Series presented by Force Fuel and Engine Conditioner will present a full program of practice, A-B Group time trials, qualifying heats, B-Mains, and the 30 lap, $1,500 to win A-Main presented by Indiana Stone Works and JB Salvage.

Activities for the Friday August 20 Bloomington Speedway date will see the pit area open at 4:30 p.m., while the general admission area will open at 5:30 p.m. The driver’s meeting will be at 6:15 p.m., with practice set for 6:30 p.m., followed by time trials, with racing set to begin at 7:30 p.m.

General admission ticket prices for this event will be $15, with children ages 12 and under free, while a pit pass will be $30.

The A-Main purse for the August 20 Bloomington Speedway event is as follows:  1st– $1,500, 2nd– $1,000, 3rd– $800, 4th– $700, 5th– $600, 6th– $575, 7th– $550, 8th– $525, 9th– $500, 10th– $400, 11th– $350, 12th– $300, 13th– $275, 14th– $250, 15th through 24th– $200 to start.
